A Selective Reverse Phase HPLC Method For Simultaneous Determination of Perindopril and Indapamide In Solid Dosage Form And Bulk Drug

Journal Title: Journal of Pharmacy Research - Year 2011, Vol 4, Issue 8

Abstract

A rapid and accurate reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed, validated and used for the quantitative determination of Perindopril and Indapamide, from solid dosage forms and bulk drug. Chromatographic separation was performed on a BDS hypersil C 18 column (25cm×4.6mm, 5 ìm ) with a mobile phase comprising of mixture of potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer (pH 2.6) and acetonitrile (65:35) at a flow rate of 1.5 ml min -1 with detection at 210 nm. Separation was complete in less than 15 min. The method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision, and specificity.
