A Study on Evolution of Communication
Journal Title: International Journal of Electronics Communication and Computer Technology - Year 2015, Vol 5, Issue 5
Abstract
The communication involving voice and data has become an integral part as well as need of the modern society. Moreover it has reached an unexpected level as compared to the communication in ancient times. In this paper the evolution of communication from ancient times to the 21st century has been studied in detail that gives a close vision to the young researchers and engineers to be aware with the evolution of communication.

Improvement of Transmittance Characteristics of 1D Photonic Crystal with Optical Gain Factor under Oblique Incidence for Different Materials
Transmittance of one-dimensional photonic crystal is numerically computed for oblique incidence of electromagnetic wave considering the effect of optical gain factor. Transfer matrix technique is used for calculation,...
Medical image Feature Extraction: A Survey
This paper reviews feature extraction methods as it relates to medical image processing. Centrality of feature extraction stage in image processing cannot be over-emphasized. Advancements in medical image processing has...
A Lossless Secret Image Sharing Scheme based on Pixel Partitioning
Secret sharing method divides a secret into some components called shadow images where each shadow image looks meaningless. Based on this idea, we propose a simple secret image sharing scheme in this article. This schem...
Linear Predictive Vocoder
The paper discusses linear predictive coder and decoder for speech signals. The basic idea behind linear predictive analysis is that a speech sample can be approximated as a linear combination of past speech samples. The...
BEP Enhancement for Semi-Femtocell MIMO Systems Employing SC-QICs and OSTBCs
In mobile cellular networks, it is estimated that more than 60% of voice and data services occur indoors. Therefore, cellular network operators have shown an unprecedented interest in research on femtocell systems from v...
