Journal Title: In Translation / في الترجمة - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Non-quantitative models are translation assessment approaches that aim at a qualitative assessment of translations, focusing on the text and its target audience, as well as the objectives of the translations and the cultural elements that should be kept during the transfer from one language into another. In other words, the assessment is purely qualitative and not quantitative.
