An Evaluation of Distance Education in World and Turkey

Abstract

Distance education is a strategy that has been in the world literature for a long time and is included in different education levels. The fact that this strategy, which is applied especially in adult education and higher education as a necessity of the age, has a place in all education levels with the Covid epidemic, is considered as a crisis solution in our country as well as all over the world. This research was carried out in order to examine the distance education systems of the countries that stand out in the world with their education systems such as Korea, Estonia, Canada and the United Kingdom, and to reveal the distance education applications in our country.
