An Experimental Analysis Of Signal Reflections On Printed Circuit Board Transmission Lines
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2012, Vol 53, Issue 4
Abstract
Signal reflections for several digital integrated circuit families are experimentally analyzed by using high-speed time domain measurements. Four test setups are designed and fabricated - the interconnect lines have different geometrical parameters. The signals that are transmitted on the line are measured using a high-performance digital oscilloscope. Each board is successively equipped with ICs from the analyzed families. Simulation results are presented in comparison with experimental results. It is shown that the circuit model must be in accordance with the manufacturer specifications in order to obtain valid simulation results.

A PSPICE Model For T Matching Circuits
In electronics, impedance matching is an engineering technique employed in circuit design for matching unequal source and load impedances. This can be done by inserting a matching circuit between the source and a load. F...
A Novel End-To-End QoS Framework Over Heterogeneous Networks - An Architectural Approach
End-to-end QoS (Quality of Service) provisioning over heterogeneous networks is a major challenge. The poor communication between Service Providers, the increasing complexity of the supported services, the need for fulfi...
Exploring Fine Phonetic Detail for Romanian Text to Speech Synthesis
This paper presents several experimental results on the study of Fine Phonetic Detail (FPD) in order to create the basis of a computational model for prosody description in a system for Text To Speech (TTS) synthesis. Di...
Simulation Of DWDM Communication System At 8.10 Gbit/s Using Continuum Source In The Transmitter
In this paper, the 8-channel DWDM communication system at 8.10 Gbit/s is demonstrated. Laser diodes used in conventional DWDM link have been replaced by continuum covering C-band of optical communication window. If the...
Improved Spatial Scalability For Video Compression
Spatial scalability (layering) in MPEG is not often used due to the lack of coding efficiency and available ICs. This work presents an alternative spatial scalability schemes that have better coding efficiency, and yet a...
