ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN APPROACHES TO FORMATION OF SOCIALLY ORIENTED ECONOMY

Abstract
The paper studies genesis and principles of the socially oriented market economy formation. The main objectives of the socially oriented economy defined: the highest standard of living of the population; the creation of an economically efficient and socially fair monetary system that ensures price stability; social security and social progress; environmental safety. Stated the characteristic features of the socially oriented economy, such as the use of market methods of economic activity, state regulation and forecasting of the economy, an open model of the economy, the existence of the modern market and social infrastructure, social protection of the population etc. The concept of the social state investigated. Considered and generalized the positive experience of formation and development of the socially oriented market economies of the leading European countries. Emphasized the basic principles of social factors inclusion in the economic reforms of the state: ensuring the participation of the population and its understanding of the connection of transformational reforms in the economy with the improvement of welfare, improving the level and quality of life; improving the standard of living of the vast majority of the population as a result of reforms, reducing income differentiation between the rich and poor in the process of transformation; matching goals of the reforms with the motivation of the majority of the active population; providing conditions for the maximum realization of creative opportunities of the population, increasing the scientific, educational and cultural potential of society. Formation of the socially oriented economy cannot be carried out without developing competition and competitiveness of the national economy, which are the main driving forces of the development of subjects, objects of management and society as a whole.
