Analysis of the results of the introduction of the system of independent assessment of stu-dents' knowledge in the basic higher educational institution.

Abstract

The article shows the experience of implementing the system of independent assessment of students' knowledge on the basis of test control at the Don State Technical University using the SKIF e-learning portal, an analysis of the implementation results, and ways to further develop the system in engineering education. The analysis of the results of testing in mathematics made it possible to identify some trends in the level of assessing the knowledge and skills of students, and also gave the chairs an oppor-tunity to obtain a general picture of the preparedness of students for the exam and was the basis for developing an independent assessment of students' knowledge and skills "Effective evalua-tion and monitoring" at the Don State Technical University. The next step in the development of the e-Learning system in the vocational training of the Don State Technical University is the introduction of the e-Learning system. The main stages of its implementation include: creating a virtual environment that contains built-in functions of col-laborative and social learning; creation of new disciplines: community management, infor-mation architecture, social network analytics, etc.; creation of new forms of evaluation tools; creation of new tools for management, support of students working on-line; training away from the computer using mobile systems.
