ANIMATED CARTOONS AS ONE OF THE MEANS OF INFLUENCE ON THE CONSCIOUSNESS AND BEHAVIOUR OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS

Abstract
The article deals with the content of the notion «cartoons». Animated cartoons are revealed as one of the means of influence on the consciousness and behaviour of preschool and primary school pupils. The principles of the cartoons’ influence on children such as informatization principle (new knowledge, information about human’s behaviours, certain objects, interesting facts), imitation principle (imitation of heroes’ behaviour by a child, speech manners, reconstruction of actions), identification principle (comparing of events, heroes, plotlines with child’s own experience) are described. The great opportunities of children cartoons as teaching and education technique are revealed. Some cartoons are analysed and methodical approaches and criteria of their selection as the following: the cartoon should not contradict some social concepts and form new stereotypes that are not typical in our society; not to contradict to reality, not «to litter» child’s speech and correspond to sociocultural norms of our society; not to contradict the main rules of education influence on the child that were established by you are revealed.
