Assessment of quality and security of food products under EU requirements

Abstract
The article deals with the basic legal acts and international legislation regulating the quality and safety of food products. It is determined that in Ukraine there is no integral system of estimation of food products. The article substantiates the existing legislation allows clear understanding of EU requirements, but for a number of reasons Ukrainian producers do not adhere to the adopted legislative norms.
