Assessment of the effectiveness of public hospital management

Abstract
The main aim of the article is to present the crucial issues of assessing the effectiveness of hospital management. The paper presents a definition of effi-ciency, indicates the key measures of its assessment with particular reference to the indicators for public health care. The article proposes also a model for as-sessing the effectiveness of the hospital management based on two aspects: fi-nancial analysis and a degree of satisfaction of stakeholders.
