Journal Title: Збірник наукових праць Кам'янець-Подільського національного університету ім. Івана Огієнка. Серія педагогічна - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 24
Abstract
The fundamental training of the teachers of Astronomy who could solve the main tasks of the school course of Astronomy has always been relevant, especially today in the conditions of the rapid development of space technology. Astronomy has an important applied meaning. It can stimulate students to study other school subjects. And, at the same time, Astronomy can’t exist without the mathematical apparatus and the laws of Physics. Observation plays a very important role in astronomy both in science and in academic discipline. Astronomical observation contributes to the formation of experimental, research, observational skills and abilities. Astronomical sites should be created for a successful study of Astronomy in schools. They provide high quality observations which are predictable in the program of Astronomy. One of the elements of the astronomy site must be a solar clock. The method of designing of a solar clock is described in this article.
