ATYPICAL ANTIPSYCHOTICS IN OPTIMISING OUTCOME IN SCHIZOPHRENIA: A REVIEW

Abstract
Clinicians focus on various aspects of medicatioms like efficacy and effectiveness, side effect profile, adherence, and influence 00 functional outcome including quality of life to maximise outcome in schizophrenia. Atypical anti psychotics differ in many of the above parameters am this issue deserves discussion. This review attempts to find out recent literature clifferentiating profile of atypical antipsychotics and to suggest clinical implicatioms in management of schizophrenia.
