Classification of Business Processes in Educational Institutions

Abstract

This article is focused on the relevance and efficiency of total quality management in high educational schools. In addition, it observed different approaches of research in the sphere of business process modelling and their results. Special attention is paid to the classification of business processes as the important component of management system in high educational school. The map of business processes of educational system is developed. Map usage forms optimal structure of business processes in high educational schools, which later can be described and formalized into a list of regulations. List is used as a basement for transitioning to process management in high educational schools. It is proved that clear classification is the main precondition of high quality business process model. The study of the management system in the Rivne State Humanitarian University allowed us to describe the advantages and disadvantages of current approaches to the implementation of management system. Transition to process management is determined as the most efficient way to improve current management system. Modern methodological tools for building business process models are defined. In addition, methodology and tools of structural and object-oriented analysis were discussed. IDEF0 and DFD notations are considered to be used to describe and simulate processes of the institution of higher education. The scientific explanation of the concept of business process was aimed to identify the stages of implementation of process management in higher education schools. Further research should include development of different ways to realize effective model of activities for high educational schools based on process approach
