Colon interposition for Adenocarcinoma Gastroesophageal junction in peripheral setup

Abstract

The incidence of gastroesophageal Junction tumour is increasing steadily. Study carried out From January 2011 to January 2018, Six colon interpositions for esophageal substitution were performed in the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Sathyam Hospital. The aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effects of colon interposition after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy among the GE Junction carcinoma patients where stomach cannot be used as a conduit.
