CONHECIMENTOS E COMPORTAMENTOS DE ADOLESCENTES SOBRE FATORES DE RISCO PARA USO DE DROGAS

Abstract
Drug use in adolescence is related to several biopsychosocial factors. Research indicates that risk factors are linked to involvement with peers who use drugs, separation from family, school dropout, availability of drugs, among others. Have protective factors are related to family support, social ties with institutions and participation in extracurricular activities. This work aims to identify how they think and behave teens on drugs. A study with 22 teenagers teenager Projovem Foz do Iguaçu, from semi-structured questionnaire. The results show that the use of drugs for adolescents begins with curiosity, peer pressure or the availability of drugs. Most of them did not relate alcohol as a drug, which shows that the information received is still insufficient. It was noticed that young people know how to get drugs (25.5% and 21.3% relate traffickers mentioning people close) and they perceive the family as a risk factor (16.7%) and protection (27.5% and 21,7%). Also recognize friendships as a risk factor (26 %). It is concluded that it is important to listen knowledge and needs of adolescents when thinking about preventive actions andthese actions also focus on family.
