Cricopharyngeal Achalasia in elderly: A rare cause of dysphagia- Case report

Abstract
Cricopharyngeal achalasia is a rare clinical condition in which upper esophageal sphincter does not open adequately during swallowing causing dysphagia. It can be primary or secondary. We report a case of cricopharngeal achalasia in a 76yr old Parkinsonian patient.
