Abstract
The article investigates the relevance of theoretical and practical approaches to ensuring information security of the countries, and an analysis of European experience. The information security of European countries is considered. The emphasis on the importance of information security of the state on the eve of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2019, the subject of information security is becoming extremely relevant, especially considering the country's aggressor's desire to interfere with the course and outcome of electoral processes in order to destabilize the political situation and falsify election results.
