Determinants of Electoral Participation

Abstract
The paper summarizes the factors that affect the electoral participation of citizens in terms of democracy. The results indicate that political and non-political (irrational, psychological) determinants of electoral participation are interrelated enough. Attention is paid to new factors, the importance of which may increase in the current political situation.
