DEVELOPMENT AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF CHILD’S PREPARATION FOR SCHOOL

Abstract
The social and pedagogical determinants of preparing a child for school in terms of the present are defined. The role of development as a subprocess of formation of a preschool child personality is analyzed. On the basis of psychological and pedagogical sources the system of preparation of the child for school in terms of present society is generalized. The content and peculiarities of successful development of the child in the period of his preparation for systematic schooling are defined. The correlation of development, teaching, education and socialization on the ground of priority of subject-subject paradigm of education is analyzed. The content of the child’s readiness for school is cleared up. The purpose of the article is to study the specifics and peculiarities of the harmonious development of the preschool child in terms of its preparation for the regular school education. Thus, the development as a process of improvement, quantitative and qualitative changes in all spheres of human being (physical, mental, moral, social, intellectual, etc.) is one of the most important components of personality formation along with the education, upbringing and socialization. Social determinants significantly affect the process of preparing the child to school and needs revision of theoretical principles and of practical methods and techniques as well. Education, upbringing and development are equally important and necessary components of the process of personality formation. When creating a perfect system for preparing children for school should take into account modern social determinants (globalization, informatization, mechanization, etc.) and the challenges of society. This process requires an integrated and interdisciplinary approach.
