Development of Small Wind External Rotor Permanent-magnet Generator Experimental Platform

Abstract

Small wind external rotor permanent magnet generator( PMG) experimental platform was developed for testing its performance. The experimental platform was mainly composed of hardware unit and software unit.The hardware was mainly composed of driving device,test device and other auxiliary devices. Software part was responsible for data acquisition,data processing and data analysis. Permanent magnet generator was driven by a three-phase asynchronous motor,which adjusted speed by frequency conversion way. Speed change of threephase asynchronous motor was used to simulate the wook with different wind-force. Through example for test and analysis of the test bench,small wind PMG experimental platform can test small wind external rotor PMG in 400 W powers and 250 r / min rotational speed.
