Abstract
Bilingualism and Cognitive Skills of the Child The article refers to the phenomenon of bilingualism analyzed in an educational aspect. The four sections were subsequently raised issues concerning the etiology and the notion of bilingualism, types of bilingualism, cognitive methods of language acquisition by children, bilingual education and a brief summary in the form the end. Key issues include: bilingualism, cognitive skills, bilingual education.
