EFFECTIVE PRE-TRIAL INVESTIGATION: THE MEANING OF THE TERM

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the meaning of the term «effectiveness of the pre-trial investigation» which was instituted by the Criminal Proceeding Code of Ukraine. The author touches the problems of ineffective pre-trial investigation. The author offers some mechanisms for the control of the effectiveness of investigator’s work by the other parties of the criminal proceeding.
