Effects of Additive Concentration on Pool Nucleate Boiling Heat Transfer of Lithium Bromide Solution
Journal Title: 河南科技大学学报(自然科学版) - Year 2016, Vol 37, Issue 6
Abstract
The effects of additive concentration on pool nucleate boiling heat transfer of 10%,20% and 30%mass fraction lithium bromide solution was studied with additives Triton X-100. The measurement results show that this additive can significantly reduce the surface tension of lithium bromide solution. Duing to salting out effect, the higher the mass fraction of lithium bromide is,the lower the critical micelle concentration( CMC) of the additive. This additive can enhance boiling heat transfer of lithium bromide solution. The best point of heat transfer enhancement is about at CMC. With the increasing of lithium bromide solution mass fraction, the heat transfer enhancement gradually is weakened. The effect of the additive on boiling temperature is little.
