Effects of Sintering Temperature on Properties of Mg/Ta/Li-doped(Na,K)NbO3

Abstract
The Li(0. 058)( Na(0. 535)K(0. 480))_(0. 942)(Nb(0. 887)Ta(0. 009)Mg(0. 004))O3( LNKNTM) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid sintering method in the range from 960 ℃ to 1 060 ℃. The effects of sintering temperature on the structure and properties of the LNKNTM ceramics were studied. The results show that in the experimental temperature range,the LNKNTM ceramics are perovskite structure. With the increase of sintering temperature,the ceramics change from tetragonal to orthorhombic phase at room temperature. The ceramics sintering at 1 020 ℃ have the highest relative density of 95. 1% and excellent electrical properties.The piezoelectric coefficient d33 and electromechanical coupling coefficient kp are 231 pC/N and 38. 6%respectively.
