Barabanova Y., Ishchenko E., Oginska K. Economic evaluation of the state and efficiency of the transport and logistics system of Ukraine. The article investigates scientific approaches to the definition of the economic essence and structure of the national transport and logistics system. The analysis of economic indicators of the functioning of the industry in the context of the main subsystems is carried out, features and structural and dynamic changes of the transport and logistic system of Ukraine are determined. The main problems of providing economic efficiency and development of transport and logistics enterprises in the conditions of transformational transformations and directions of their solution are outlined. The state of infrastructure (especially the road surface), the constant rise in fuel prices, the devaluation of the national currency and the decrease in demand for services due to the reduction of industrial production in the country are also having a negative impact on the transport and logistics efficiency of carriers. Solving these problems requires an integrated approach at the macro level (legislative improvement and optimization of fiscal policy, stabilization of macroeconomic indicators, development of transport and logistics infrastructure) and at the industry level, namely: development and introduction of advanced logistic and navigational technologies, optimization of routes based on inter-sectoral integration of carriers and the formation of universal transport-logistic clusters, training and personnel training.
