European standards of rule of law and doctrinal problems of proceedings on the basis of agreements in criminal proceedings

Abstract
The article analyzes the institute of proceedings on the basis of agreements and ensures the rule of law, compares the norms of the criminal procedural legislation, which establishes the institute of agreements in criminal proceedings in Ukraine and other countries, the general features, similarities and differences of the agreements on recognition of guilty and conciliation agreements are distinguished. the parties presented modern legal positions of the European Court of Human Rights on these problems, ways of improving the legislation and practices of its application were revealed.
