« Facho ! Fasciste ! », sont-ils les « gros mots » historiques de la politique (française) contemporaine ?

Abstract
The words have a meaning, in principle collectively admitted. But sometimes, they have the one that we are willing to give them. If in itself, the words have no capacity to cause a particular affect, some of them can arouse more emotions, and thus, to have a power. So of the term “facho”, the slang declension of “fascist”, became, seemingly, the hegemonic swearword of the contemporary French politics. If this word is rude now, it is in light of the History especially. Overcome, the fascism disappeared since 1945. However, its terminological success always continued, thanks to the persistence of an anti-fascism become a rhetoric to demonize the enemy. Cleverly manipulated by the (communist) left which ran through the collective consciousness totally, this word wildly used, above all as offense, aims at persons and at ideas without any link with the Mussolini’s doctrine most of the time. Precise historic reality, the fascism turned into strategic element of language hiding ideological and political interests, triggering consequences: able to discredit an individual reputation, it is also the public life, in the grip of these drifts, which suffers from this Manichaean dualism, intellectually impoverishing and potentially totalitarian. In this war of words, between the lexical manipulations, the conceptual distortions and the semantics manhandled, this is the status of language and the dangers surrounding it, we must try to define.
