« Quelque chose me turluzobe » ou le calembour comme préliminaire à la néologie chez San-Antonio

Journal Title: Argotica - Year 2013, Vol 0, Issue 1

Abstract

In San-Antonio collected works, the spun (or calembour) holds a dual function: be amusing, and insert into the text comments on the language and its proceedings (see Rullier-Theuret). It occurs its role extends to neologism, a creation of new words. This article studies the particular method of this sort of neologisms, and their usage. The article points out San-Antonio is devoting unexpected resources of both standard and argotic language, and proves the author reveals a profound « linguistic meaning ».
