Abstract
The article investigates data validation in the proceedings at first instance. The concept of verification in the proceedings, evidence-based information sources for verification and purpose of pursuing the participants of the proceedings. Characterized nonverbal communicative inverse relationship between the parties to the proceed- ings. Thesis there is determined the principles of the proceedings of the first instance under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
