FEATURES OF THE FRENCH MODEL OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT: EXPERIENCE FOR UKRAINE

Abstract
In this article the essence of concept "the model of local self-government" and the relationship between categories "model" and "system" of local self-government were analyzed, the characteristic of the current system of local self-government in the French Republic was performed. Based on the experience of governance gained by France, the main directions of development of local self-government in Ukraine were proposed.
