FORMATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF NON-LANGUAGE SPECIALTIES

Abstract
The article reveals the theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation of foreign language communicative competence among students of non-linguistic specialties; identified priorities that are advanced to the training of specialists of the new generation such as communicative: the formation and development of all components of foreign language communicative competence: language, speech, discursive, sociocultural, compensatory and educational; humanistic: educational, educational and developmental; the definition of communicative competence is given as the level of proficiency in linguistic, verbal and socio-cultural knowledge, skills and abilities that allow future specialists to effectively and expediently vary their verbal behavior depending on the psychological factors of communication; leading methodological approaches have been defined that optimize the process of the formation of foreign language communicative competence: a competence-based, sociocultural approach; personality-oriented; it is proved that the basic conditions for the formation of foreign language communicative competence among students of non-linguistic specialties is the relationship of learning with all types of speech activity; the system of exercises, which is based on the phased organization of verbal communication in the educational process; the use of role-based communication techniques during the learning of foreign languages.
