Formation of the relationship between The Republic of Azerbaijan and Republic of Uzbekistan in the region Science and Education (1991-2003)

Abstract
In the presented article the process of development of the relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Republic of Uzbekistan in the humanitarian fields in the first years is considered. It is noted that these ties have their roots in the deep centuries. In the Soviet period, when the two related peoples were part of a single state, their mutual relations developed especially rapidly. After Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan gained independence, with the exception of 1992-1993, strategic relations were established between the two states. The role and merits of Heydar Aliyev and Islam Kerimov in the development of relations between the two peoples are emphasized.
