Formulation and in-vitro evaluation of Divalproex sodium sustained release matrix tablets
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
Divalproex sodium 250 mg sustained release tablets were developed by using polymers like PVPK 30, HPMC K4M, HPMC K100M, Ethyl cellulose 45 CPS and Ethyl cellulose 20 CPS. Nine formulations were prepared with varying concentration of polymers. In-vitro dissolution studies were conducted for 12 hours. Formulation F9 showed better results in drug release pattern compared to other formulations.
