FUNCTIONING OF PROSECUTORʼS OFFICE: UKRAINE AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of functioning of the prosecutor’s offices in Ukraine and foreign countries. It was implemented the review of the legislative framework of the activities of the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine. There were analyzed its main functions. On the basis of the comparative study of foreign prosecutors, the data on their place in the system of power, the type of the model and basic functions are presented that gives the image of the role and direction of the prosecutor’s office development in the leading countries of the modern world. The recommendations for improving the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine are given.
