GENERAL THEORETICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE TURKISH POLITICAL REGIME

Abstract
The article is devoted to theoretical analysis of the current state of the political regime of the Republic of Turkey. Despite of the consolidation of a wide range of human rights and freedoms, democratic fundamental principles in the constitution, the accession of the state to a multitude of international legal acts, the situation with the methods and means of exercising of power remains tense, causes criticism of international institutions. But the increase in the problems of human rights, political opposition, media in Turkey, neglect of the principle of separation of powers can lead to changes in the political regime in the authoritarianism direction.
