“Green Corridors” concept as an inspiration for spatial management in Poland

Abstract
Regional development is based upon varying economic, social and environmental factors, on which it depends. One of its conditions is adequate technical infrastructure, which enables care for entrepreneurship development, improved communication or social and public capital. Development of technical infrastructure however, must be consistent with the rules set by sustainable development, predominantly with its environmental scope. The concept of “Green Corridors” in the European context will be one of the most important instruments for realisation of a sustainable development principle.
