GROCHOLIN – INTERESUJĄCE ZAŁOŻENIE PARKOWE NA PAŁUKACH

Abstract
paper presents results of research into dendroflora of former manor park in Grocholin situated in the Kcynia Commune (mesoregion: Gniezno Lakeland). Among all trees the most numerous group comprised Acer platanoides (30%), Fraxinus excelsior (23%), Tilia cordata and Carpinus betulus (were are 10%), Aesculus hippocastanum and Robinia pseudoacacia (were are 7%) and others: Acer pseudoplatanus, Quercus robur, Populus alba and Betula pendula. Among single trees proposed as natural monuments the greatest numbers belong to Acer campestre (9), Fraxinus excelsior (5) and Populus alba (4). In the area of the survey there are 3 of trees registered as natural monument: Platanus ×acerifolia (trunk perimeter 850 cm), Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea’ (445 cm) and Gleditsia triacanthos (285 cm). A total of 5 species covered by legal protection were reported, e.g., Galanthus nivalis, Matteucia struthiopteris Ononis spinosa, Pinus mugo and Taxus baccata. From the rare vascular plants in the scale of the region of the analysed park there are Asarum europaeum, Chenopodium bonus-henricus, Hepatica nobilis and Lathraea squamaria
