Grotesque image of a human being in the texts of English-American fables: linguistic and cognitive mechanisms of its formation

Abstract
The description of linguistic and cognitive mechanisms of grotesque image of a human being formation in the texts of English-American fables is given. Conceptual system of comic in the English-American fable of Realism is presented by conceptual field A HUMAN BEING AS A MARIONETTE. Conceptual oxymoron PUBLIC vs. INDIVIDUAL serves as basis of grotesque image of a human being formation.
