Healthcare Professionals’ Risk Perception in Online Shopping and Its Effect on Repurchase Intention During Covid-19 Outbreak

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, like all consumer groups, has changed shopping habits of healthcare professionals. In this period, the rate of shopping made through online channels have increased and the use of mobile applications has become widespread. However, as in all kinds of shopping environments, consumers are faced with a certain level of risk during their purchasing decision in online shopping and the perceived risk in online purchases can affect their purchase intention. This study aims to identify the effect of risk perception in online shopping on repurchase intention. Research was carried out by using questionnaire method between July and November 2021 with 376 healthcare professionals working in Adana and agreeing to participate in research. Multiple regression analysis was applied to obtained data. As a result of analysis; it is determined that except for delivery risk; product risk, financial risk, security risk and social risk have negative effects on repurchase intention.
