Implementation of the corporate management methods in the public sector – a trend or a necessity?

Abstract

The key to success, for which is considered the approach of public and private sector efficiency, are managers (all levels) with common sense, experienced and educated enough to understand the concepts of specific public administration functioning, and implementing modern public management. According to the self-government employees law changes, getting such workers and training those already hired becomes feasible and the flexible payroll system gives you the chance to stop the outflow of high potential workers. It should be noted that the modern organization – including the public one – requires modern personnel, and therefore a key concern for managers should be to provide mechanisms for the selection and subsequent development of professional co-workers. It, therefore, allows for a reasonable implementation of corporate standards in other areas. The authors of this paper try to present the actions undertaken by the local government, to improve the quality of work and its standards, to create a foundation for the implementation of corporate architecture. Changing at the same time, through the development of employees, organizational culture, and moving away from the beaten schemes of modern management methods.
