INFINITIVE IN THE SYSTEM OF ATTRIBUTIVE RELATIONS

Abstract
The subject of study is the infinitive to attributive constructions. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the infinitive to attributive constructions taking into account the specifics of the reference words. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the material of artistic and journalistic texts, proved the possibility of the functioning of the infinitive as attribute. The theoretical value of the present article is that the analyzed attribute design with unspecialized means of expression, namely, infinitives, which makes it possible to qualify them as semanticfunctional peripherals category attribution. The practical importance of this study suggests that the proposed material in the development of special courses on functional and semantic syntax. It is determined that the reason for the functioning of the infinitive in the attributive position was that nouns, which combines the infinitive, mainly informative appear insufficient and need to spread the word predicate. On the other hand, the possibility of the infinitive noun functioning gives him a reason to take a position attribute, like any other noun. This signified a limited number of nouns; semantic rather strict restrictions on the combination of the infinitive noun indicate unproductive attribute position for the infinitive. Analysis of attribute components in the pragmatic aspect may be the prospect of the study.
