Abstract
Stroiko Tatiana, Babaeva Ekaterina. – The innovative aspects of Ukraine's development: state of the art and strategic perspectives. The article defines theoretical aspects of the research of innovations and innovative potential. The present state of the country's innovative development and the main perspectives of innovative development of Ukraine are substantiated. The prospects for Ukraine's innovative development depend to a large extent on the results of its cooperation with the EU. The signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU will become a powerful tool for intensifying cooperation in the innovation sphere and a new format in the development of these relations. The current state of innovation activity is the consequence of the lack of a strategic vision and consistent policy for the transfer of Ukraine to the innovative way of development. Key words: economic development, innovations, innovative potential, state policy, innovative model of development, technological adjustment.
