Abstract

The educational centers constitute the educational project of a city, in which it aims at meeting the coordination of the school formative proposals along with the initiatives from the public and private sectors as well as the ones from the community associations which surround the learning centers. The needs for flexible teaching structures are shown as well as the organization of the activities in and outside school. Thus, a web society is proposed in which its institutions and associations can work in a flexible way so that it can adapt to a community where the people have at their disposal a varied timetable, places and suggestions for common tasks. Such proposal aims at providing the interaction of the education with the new information and communication technologies, causing a better formative offer due to the importance of knowledge and also because it can improve the life conditions and the economic and cultural levels of the society. Therefore, the institutes and educational centers can develop a decisive role in the promotion and development of an opener, more democratic and caring citizenship once they count on a better organization of formal and informal teaching and learning.
