Intercultural communicative competence as a component of intercultural communication in training diplomats

Abstract
This article is an analysis of the intercultural communicative competence as a key component in learning a foreign language, which increases the value and the need to adapt teaching methods to improve the level of cultural awareness of the target audience. The article provides the critical analysis of scientific research and its results. It is outlined how the acquisition of skills of intercultural communication influences the quality of learning and mastering a foreign language by diplomats, whose main task is to establish contacts and to avoid misunderstandings through cross-cultural communicative interaction.
