Interrelation of value orientations and career direction of a modern student

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the interrelation of value orientations and career direction of the modern student. The research was conducted using such techniques as: Test “Value Orientations” by M. Rokich, Questionnaire “Career Anchors” developed by E. Schein (adapted by V. Cheacker). According to the analysis of the obtained data, it was found that the current generation of students strives for autonomy, independent decision-making, balance in all spheres of life, and the service to the universal goals. At the same time, there is a willingness to improve the educational level, personal development, the ability to take the initiative for realizing their own productive life, to demonstrate diligence and accuracy for achieving their goals.
