КАЧЕСТВО ГУМАНИТАРНОГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ: РИСКИ ПРИ ОБУЧЕНИИ ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫМ ТЕХНОЛОГИЯМ

Abstract
This article examines groups of risks associated with teaching information and communication technologies to students of a humanitarian profile. The whole set of risks are divided into two groups. The first group includes the so-called traditional risks associated with the lack of the necessary amount of computer technology; rapid moral aging of technology and software; constant emergence of new information technologies; discrepancies between the state standards of education and the realities of modern information technologies. The second group includes methodological risks related to the organization of the teaching process and the content of the learning courses; risks associated with the organization of educational process; and educational risks. The article discusses results of the risk analysis in teaching the «Information Technologies» course for junior and senior students taking into account their readiness and motivation to master this academic discipline. The analysis is conducted based on the experience obtained in the department of Information Technologies and Mathematics at Kharkiv Humanitarian University «People’s Ukrainian Academy». To manage the risks, a gradual learning of information and communication technologies is introduced into the university’s curricula.
