Leyte Normal University Cooperative Process Sytem With Biometrics and Barcode Scanner

Journal Title: Journal of Computing and Innovation - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 1

Abstract

This Descriptive-quantitative study was proposed to develop the present manual system od the cooperative in an automated process system. The feasibility of the study was supported by several theories such as information theory, Information System approach theory and system theory. Moreover, the researchers provided a self-structured survey questioners and interview guides tin order to gather the information from seventy-six (76) respondents or forty percent (40%) of the whole population of Leyte Normal University Multi-Purpose Cooperative. The questionnaires and interview guides contain the discussion of the current status of cooperative and problem encountered with the manual process. In connection with this, the researchers used the percentage method to clearly interpret the result of the problems experienced in LNU-EMPC including the issues on security and efficiency and to determine what would be the possible solutions. The result of the analysis and interpretation regarding the problems encountered by the present cooperative implies the need of automated process system which obtained a 95% positive response. The automated system anticipates a very good result with a most organized process and increased credibility for the LNU-EMPC.
