METHODS OF EVALUATION OF SUSТAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL TERRITORIES

Abstract
Purpose. The article’s goal is to development the methodical approach to the calculation of integral indicators of sustainable rural development and development of an appropriate system of indicators for conducting evaluation of development rural territories. Methodology of research. The study used general scientific and special economic methods, including: abstract logical (to formulate basic principles of theoretical generalization of the findings and analysis of the research results of domestic and foreign scientists), monographic (studying peculiarities of the methodology for assessing the sustainable development of rural territories), statistic and mathematical (comparing economic efficiency of rural development). Due to the economic and mathematical methods, including taking multiple correlation and regression analysis using software applications processing statistical information, the influence of sustainability indicators for rural development. The study used graphical and tabular methods for the purpose of visual representation of information, its systematization and display analytical data. Findings. The planning and monitoring of sustainable development of rural territories and the formation of mechanisms of realization of the set strategic goals of rural development requires a system of indicators and clear methods of evaluation of sustainable development of rural territories are determined. The study estimates the method of sustainable rural development. It was established that the integral indicator of sustainable development is a necessary element analysis of rural development that serves the development and implementation of tactical, operational and strategic decisions at every stage of the regional and national programs. Originality. Scientific novelty of the results of the study is to develop a conceptual approach to the development of methods of assessing the level of sustainable rural development. Practical value. The obtained results of the study are the basis for addressing socio-economic and environmental problems in rural territories. They can be used for the introduction and implementation of strategies for sustainable rural development.
