MODERN PROBLEMS OF THE ELECTORAL PROCESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
In the article the questions connected with actual problems of the electoral process are investigated and analyzed. Analysis of scientific research and practice showed that these problems can be conditionally placed in three levels: the level of legislation; level of organization and practical implementation of the electoral process and the third level – protection and protection of electoral rights. This classification is interesting, both from the point of view of theory, and from the position of practice. A clear understanding of the current problems of the electoral process makes it possible to develop effective mechanisms for legal regulation in this area. It is noted that modern electoral legislation needs to be improved taking into account European standards and numerous practices. It is concluded that one of the directions for eliminating negative consequences in the electoral process is stable electoral legislation
