Na początku był blog: od prób literackich do pogłębionych badań nad nietypowymi biografiami pogranicza

Abstract
Owing to the digital revolution, scientists of various specializations, including biography studies, deal with previously unknown phenomena. Sometimes these phenomena pose problems, but more often they can and should be treated as a positive challenge. One of them is a dynamic growth of the so-called blogosphere. The authors of this paper – Ewa Maria Slaska, a webmaster of a literary and social blog, and Tomasz Fetzki, who regularly writes for this blog – began a literary experiment about a year ago. They created blog posts about unusual, mysterious and inspirational people buried in the German and Polish cemeteries. These people lived in borderlands and were therefore of various nationalities and faiths. The authors discovered their graves during their numerous walks an journeys. It quickly became clear that these biographies have been approached too briefly and that they require a deeper insight. The results of the research and their educational potential are discussed in this paper.
